… I LOVED TALKING ON THE PHONE!!! … I became deaf. I knew I’d probably never talk on telephone again. My audiologist had told me that MOST of the ABI-recipients can’t understand much speech without lipreading. Well, I am the kind of girl that does what MOST people (that I know) think would be impossible …

On November 2, 2008 me and about 30 or 40 in that team ran and all completed (with a number of PR times, including mine) the NYC Marathon! I just found out that through this event alone NF Endurance Team raised a lotal (so far) of about $ 68,000 toward a cure for Neurofibromatosis! ThanksĀ to [...]
